happy friday! gotta love short weeks, right?
i thought i'd share a few of my favorite things right now as well as what i've been up to lately. first, let me dish on this top. it's the bessst. it's so comfortable and i know i'll be reaching for it on a weekly basis this fall. i can't wait to pair it with my new converse!
on the beauty front we've got some tortoiseshell bobby pins, a heavenly lavender sea salt hair mist, and glossier's coconut balm dotcom. i love this hair mist, but if you follow me on snapchat (i'm caitiecawley over there!), you would have seen that this is my new favorite hair product. i spray it into my hands and work it into my hair for lots of volume!
in more personal news, i recently decided to give up dairy for a while. i'm two weeks in, and i'm still missing cheese really bad. i've found some vegan alternatives that are good, but it's not the same as the real thing! the whole reason why i'm giving up dairy is due to a bad breakout i was dealing with along my chin. it's a pretty embarrassing topic, but it was an ongoing issue for nearly a month. while doing some searching online i came across a handful of articles where people shared that giving up dairy had been a key factor in clearing up their skin.
even though i'm only two weeks in, i can already see a difference in my skin! plus, i truly had no idea how bloated i was before haha! it was nice to notice that disappear. if anyone else has gone dairy free i would love to know your thoughts!
