This blog post was written as part of my collaboration with eBay.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't dread the day I finally decide to wear a sweater for the first time this fall. It's a huge commitment. From that day forward I'm basically stuck in a cycle of ankle boots and sweaters until early April! But it sure is fun in the beginning.
There are lots of long-sleeved tees and neutral sweaters in my fall wardrobe. I've pulled together a few quick, easy, no-fail fall outfits. The first is a classic long-sleeved striped tee with my favorite Levi's Wedgie Icon jeans. It's a simple outfit, but the ballet flats sweeten up the look a bit. FYI my all-time favorite striped tees are from J.Crew Factory. They have a slightly boxy shape and are made of a sturdy cotton fabric. They hold up really well and I wear mine a ton!
Even if you're dreading ankle boots and sweaters like me, there's no denying that this outfit looks cozy. I picked up this Abercrombie & Fitch mockneck sweater last year and I wore it weekly. I'm sure it will be in heavy rotation again this fall. I've paired it with my favorite Madewell destroyed black skinny jeans as well as the Madewell Billie boots.
I'd say that this is my perfect weekend or "out and about" outfit. It's comfortable, casual, yet still pulled together. I picked up my first pair of Frame skinny jeans this year and I adore them. They're soft and stretchy, but they never bag out. The Le High Skinny Jeans are my favorite style!
I rarely wear a jacket during early fall, but some mornings are chilly and require extra layers. The Madewell Motorcycle Jacket is my perfect leather jacket. It's buttery soft, has a worn-in look, and pairs just as well with sweaters as it does with floral dresses.
